Dog Boarding & Daycare / Montgomery (IL)

If you live in Montgomery and have a dog, you know there are times you’ll be away and your beloved pet can’t be with you. It might be for hours, days or weeks – in any case, you want to know your pet is relaxed and cared for in a safe, healthy, playful atmosphere.

Located in the heart of Oswego, The Pets’ Home is a 5,000 sq. ft. dog boarding and daycare facility creatively designed to replicate the comfort and warmth of a three-bedroom home. A notable departure from conventional kennels, it provides your pet with a cozy, home-like environment throughout its stay.

It also doesn’t matter if your Montgomery dog is a puppy, a senior citizen or one with special needs – we can accommodate them all!

Our team truly loves animals, and it is our joy to give your dog the attention and affection it wants and needs until that moment it sees you return and run to you.

The Experience

The Pets’ Home is a safe and fun sanctuary where your dog can rest, play, eat and sleep until the two of you are together again.

Whether you’re away for a longer vacation or only a workday, your dog will benefit from our daycare’s creature comforts. Daycare guests can enjoy from 4 to 8 hours of our daycare. Guests that are boarding receive up to 8 hours of daycare at no extra cost.

Our boarding for Montgomery dogs incorporates residential furniture, decor and amenities for a familiar setting that helps put pets at ease. Your dog is not confined to sterile cages but rather free to roam in relaxation with a sense of inclusion. Our layout includes both communal areas for group activities as well as cozy corners for solitude.

The sunny bedrooms have personalized spaces for individual or multi-pet lodging. Your pet will also be able to have a sleep area determined by its friendliness with other dogs.

Our dog boarding and daycare for Montgomery also includes climate control for greater comfort and soothing background music for additional relaxation.

Big Play Areas

Because dogs are social animals, they benefit from regular play with other dogs. We encourage and accommodate that activity with expansive indoor and outdoor play areas.

Fenced for security, the outdoor area lets your dog dart through the fresh air and engage different ways to exercise. It has nine separate, segregated yards plus a special inground pool – the only such pool in Oswego – so your pet has plenty of room and chances for play! We also monitor all play areas to ensure your dog’s comfort and safety.

The indoor play area includes toys and designated spaces for activities that satisfy dogs’ range of needs and energy levels. Your dog might also want to enjoy other pets for foam parties with our commercial-grade foam machine!

Personalized Care Plan

Your pet is unlike any other, so we offer care plans customized specifically for your dog. Whether it has dietary and medical instructions or preferred ways to play, we will suit its needs and nuances.

We also encourage you to share with us everything you know is important to your dog, such as its routine, likes and dislikes. We want our dog boarding and daycare to be a smooth and pleasant transition for your pet.

We’ll also track your pet’s progress and update you through daily reports.

Trained & Ready Staff

Our team members undergo rigorous training that prepares them for what your pet may require during its stay. From administering medication to providing loving attention, we are watchful, responsive and nurturing in caring for your dog.

We also reinforce your pet’s security and well-being with advanced surveillance systems that let us keep a wide and watchful eye on our guests.

A team member always sleeps overnight at the dog boarding facility as well. Should a concern or rare emergency arise at night, we know how to act and respond.

Safety & Health

We strive to keep our guests protected from illness by cleaning each facility room daily with pet-safe cleaners. If for any reason your dog becomes sick or has medical needs, a trained staff member will carefully attend to your pet.

In the event of a rare emergency, we will notify both you and your vet right away. Each room includes a pet CPR kit as well.

We also help support your dog’s health by making sure it gets the exercise it needs. When you come to pick up your pet, there’s a good chance your best friend will be joyfully worn out and ready to relax at your feet after a play-packed day!

Community-Building

In addition to offering an exceptional dog boarding and daycare experience, The Pets’ Home aims to create a sense of community among pet owners. We often share updates, photos and videos of pets engaged in activities with their owners – we’ve found this is a great way to keep dog owners connected with their furry friends’ experiences.

We also organize events and social gatherings that inspire Montgomery dog owners to visit our facility and participate in activities with their pets. Our Halloween Treat Trail, Photos with Santa and Valentine’s Day Kissing Booth celebrations are all ways we have a great time with you and like-minded others with a passion for their pets’ well-being.
